even if it is a handful of dirt.

even if it is a tree that stands by itself.

even if it is a long way from here.

Hold on to life,

even if it is easier to let go.

even if I have departed.

For my grandfather, who departed a few years ago, but never left. Who blessed me with the life he couldn’t give his first daughter. He carried till the end, the pain of powerlessness in front of the unfair and I didn’t know, I was carrying a part of this burden.


But we don’t have to anymore. 🕊️
